Stores Manager

About Our Client

An organisation within the industrial and manufacturing sector, located in Berwickshire.

Manage and maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and parts.
Monitor and control budgetary constraints for the stores and maintenance functions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all activities.
Develop and implement effective stock control procedures.
Support the engineering team with timely provision of necessary resources.
Generate reports and analyse data to improve operational efficiency.

Previous experience in a Stores Manager, Inventory Manager, Maintenance Planner, Engineering Stores Controller or similar role.
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, processing, FMCG or industrial environment.
Strong inventory management and stock control knowledge.
Experience using ERP, CMMS or stock management systems.
Good understanding of maintenance planning and preventative maintenance principles.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
Competent user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyse data and produce reports.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
