Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsJoin a fast-growing brand in the Food Manufacturing space.Supply Chain management experience is required.About Our ClientThe company is a fast-growing business in the Food Manufacturing space.Job DescriptionOwn and manage the end-to-end Supply Chain function, covering procurement, demand & supply planning, production planning, warehouse and logistics.Lead demand and supply planning across multiple suppliers, SKUs and BOMs, balancing customer demand, production capacity, inventory and working capital.Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging and externally sourced finished goods, ensuring optimal availability, cost and supplier performance.Oversee the on-site warehouse and inventory operation, including stock accuracy, stock rotation, discrepancy investigations, traceability and process compliance.Optimise the use of inventory/stock management systems, improving data accuracy, system efficiency and visibility across the supply chain.Develop and analyse Supply Chain KPIs and reports, using data to identify trends, improve accuracy and drive operational and cost efficiencies.Work closely with Finance on inventory, purchasing, working capital, reporting and cost management.Lead and develop the Supply Chain/Warehouse team, while working cross-functionally with Production, Commercial, Finance and other departments.Lead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives, bringing departments together to deliver end-to-end operational improvements.Drive a strong cost-saving and efficiency mindset across both in-house manufacturing and externally purchased finished goods, identifying opportunities to reduce waste, optimise inventory and improve overall supply chain performance.The Successful ApplicantA successful Supply Chain Manager should have:Food Manufacturing experience in a Supply Chain role, ideally within an SME or growing business. Experience in a larger, well-established organisation would also be valuable.A strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning, with experience managing demand and supply across multiple suppliers, SKUs and BOMs.Practical experience of warehouse and inventory management, including maintaining stock accuracy, investigating discrepancies, stock rotation and improving processes.Numerically confident and analytical, with experience using stock/inventory or ERP systems and turning data and reporting into practical improvements.A confident people leader and collaborator, comfortable working across Production, Finance, Commercial and other teams, as well as leading projects and driving change.A commercial, tech-savvy and continuous-improvement mindset, with a genuine interest in finding smarter ways of working, reducing costs, improving efficiency and optimising stock and working capital.What's on OfferSalary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000 (dependent on the level of experience)10% performance-based bonus.If you're interested in this role, apply now!People are at the heart of Michael Page.
