Job Description

  • Oversee daily supply chain activities to help maintain the flow of goods across the operation.
  • Plan supply requirements and coordinate activity to meet business demand.
  • Work closely with procurement and supply chain colleagues to keep plans aligned.
  • Monitor stock movement and availability to help prevent disruption to supply.
  • Review supply chain performance and address day-to-day issues in a timely way.
  • Maintain accurate supply chain information to support clear planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure goods are delivered in line with agreed plans.
  • Identify practical improvements to supply chain processes and ways of working.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Supply Chain Manager' should have:

  • Experience managing supply chain activities.
  • Strong knowledge of supply planning, stock management and goods movement.
  • Ability to coordinate supply requirements with procurement and operational teams.
  • Confidence reviewing supply information and using it to support planning decisions.
  • Experience resolving supply issues while keeping day-to-day activity on track.
  • Ability to identify and implement practical process improvements.
