Job Description

  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategies to optimise tax efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related financial information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related queries and concerns.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their potential impact on the organisation.
  • Support audits and manage relationships with external tax advisors.
  • Maintain accurate and organised tax records and documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Accountant should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting or tax, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, especially within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured and professional environment in Belfast.
