They are investing heavily in modern data platforms to enhance ESG reporting, strengthen governance, and enable strategic decision-making across the business.Job DescriptionLead technical and functional analysis for ESG and risk-focused data initiativesGather, document, and translate business and system requirements into detailed technical specificationsSupport the implementation of a new data platform, including integration, configuration, and deploymentWork closely with business, data governance, and technology teams to ensure end-to-end solution deliveryDesign and maintain data models, schemas, and database structuresDevelop data lineage, mapping, and flow across complex system landscapesCollaborate with architects and engineers on data pipelines, integration patterns, and metadata frameworksEnsure compliance with ESG regulations and data governance standards (e.g., BCBS239)Support agile delivery, including user story definition, testing, and validationThe Successful Applicant10+ years' experience in technical/business systems analysis within financial servicesStrong background in data analysis, data modelling, and database designProven experience working on risk, regulatory, or ESG-related initiativesStrong technical skills, including SQL and PythonExperience producing technical requirements documentation and working across full SDLCStrong understanding of data lineage, data governance, and regulatory frameworksExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teamsExperience working in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering and QA teamsFamiliarity with modern data platforms (Azure, Databricks) is advantageousWhat's on OfferCompetitive daily rate between GBP 510 and GBP 890.
