Job Description

Our client is an established, globally diversified organisation operating across more than 30 countries is seeking a Treasury Accountant to join its Finance & Treasury function.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their exposure to FX, hedge accounting, and international treasury operations within a large, decentralised group structure.
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller, but working closely with the Treasury team on a day‑to‑day basis, you will play a key role in managing the Group's FX exposure, supporting hedge accounting under IFRS 9, and delivering monthly management reporting.
  • The role also offers the opportunity to gain experience in debt capital markets, with the business issuing bonds on a regular cycle.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, FX, financial instruments and an interest in treasury.
  • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to present complex messages to c-suite.
  • Confident working with complex data and delivering accurate financial analysis.
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience with hedge accounting or IFRS 9 is beneficial but not essential.
