Operates within the global sweets and confectionery sector, manufacturing products such as jellies, marshmallows, liquorice and other sugar confectionery items. They are a long‑established, multinational business headquartered in Spain and present in 100+ countries, with a strong focus on innovation, product quality and category leadership. Their UK and Ireland operations distribute a wide portfolio of high‑performing confectionery products through retail, wholesale and convenience channels

Job Description

  • Develop strong relationships with wholesale partners including cash & carry operators and symbol groups.
  • Secure distribution of the core product range within wholesale supply chains.
  • Develop quarterly and annual growth plans with key channel partners.
  • Agree promotional calendars to drive distribution, retailer participation and sales.
  • Manage performance‑based trade investment budgets with wholesale partners.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events, presenting the range and generating new opportunities.
  • Visit wholesale depots and cash & carry locations to support retailer engagement, NPD sampling and display activity.
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale commercial and field teams and educate them on the brand and opportunity.
  • Identify white‑space opportunities across retail, foodservice and hospitality channels.
  • Provide regular reporting to Sales Director and channel partners on market performance and wins.
  • Generate growth opportunities for Territory Development Managers within wholesale networks.

The Successful Applicant



  • Experience working with wholesale networks or symbol groups in Ireland.
  • Strong commercial and relationship management skills.
  • Track record securing distribution and driving channel growth.
  • Confident presenting to retailers and industry audiences.
  • Full clean driving licence.
