We are seeking a highly organised Personal Assistant to Directors to provide comprehensive administrative support in the Financial Services industry. This temporary role in Nottingham requires someone with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple diaries efficiently.

You will assist in delivering audits in line with UK auditing standards and Companies Act requirements, perform audit testing across a range of areas, and support the review of financial statements. The role includes assessing audit risks, understanding internal controls, and escalating issues appropriately.

You will form part of the UK leadership team and have a key involvement in strategic decision making across the UK but particularly in the Midlands. You will lead on engagements through your own network and referred from the business while driving forward the brand and developing the team around you.

You will get on the job training from an experienced management team as well as benefiting from a thorough on-boarding programme to ensure you transition successfully into the role. Working in Nottingham but with occasional travel to other offices in the UK and client premises.

You'll lead audits end to end, support and supervise junior team members, and deliver high-quality work, with increasing responsibility and a clear pathway to Assistant Manager depending on experience and client portfolio.

This is a client-facing manager role based in the East Midlands office. Reporting to the local Audit Partner, the role will be focused on leading multiple audit assignments for the regional client base.

You will manage your own client portfolio, lead complex advisory projects, and support senior leadership in the development of the wider tax practice.

This role will support the growth of this firm as they continue to win work with AIM and AQUIS listed clients, as well as overseeing the existing portfolio of SME clients under UK GAAP. You will head up the Audit department for the firm and have the overall say across all matters concerning the team and client decisions.
