This role is for someone who really wants to get involved in client's businesses, you'll be like the customers' partner, kind of like an extension to their team. You will be responsible for all the Management Accounts, Year End Accounts, and Corporation Tax Returns for a set of limited company clients.

A successful accountancy practice based in Nottingham has a key requirement for a Tax Manager to join their team and whilst you will oversee and manage the delivery of a quality compliance service, there will be a significant focus to the role on leading on the delivery of wide-ranging tax planning and project work to a varied client base. You will act as key support to the firm's partners as the firms tax lead.

You will be in a split position across the audit and business services department. You will be involved with all audit work from start to finish as well as preparing financial statements ready for audit. When not on site with clients, you will be supporting the wider business services department with the provision of accounting services to a mixed client base.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and making a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of the restructuring business within this reputable practice.

A role suitable for a qualified accountant who is seeking further development post qualification. You will receive exposure with larger clients and the ability to be involved with the growth and development of a portfolio - both of which will open plenty of career options.

You will provide high-quality management reporting packs, measure the financial performance of client businesses, and provide cashflow reporting, including scenario planning, ensuring clients are able to make sense of their financial data.

The primary responsibility of the role is to lead on-site audits for a mixed client base, assisting the senior management team in both client work and in the management of the audit department.
