Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Review and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Monitor financial transactions and report discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and assist in audits.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • A qualification or part-qualification in accountancy (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Experience or Involvement in P&L.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
