Job Description

  • Manage and oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment allocations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare regular financial reports related to AR and banking operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve financial queries.
  • Maintain and update financial records in compliance with company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AR & Banking Specialist should have:

  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and banking processes within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to analyse and resolve financial discrepancies effectively.
  • A proactive approach to improving financial processes and systems.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
