Job Description

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Conduct variance analysis to monitor financial performance.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and advice.
  • Help manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Assist with audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Able to commute to our client's office in Corby.
