The client offers excellent benefits including hybrid working.Job DescriptionAs an Assistant Management Accountant duties will include but are not limited to:Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.Support month-end and year-end processes, including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis.Produce financial analysis and performance reports to support business decision-making.Maintain accurate financial records, including bank reconciliations, fixed assets and VAT activities.Oversee purchase and sales ledger activities, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.Monitor customer accounts, manage outstanding debt and build strong relationships to resolve payment queries.Support client billing, contractor payments and finance-related stakeholder queries across the businessThe Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate should:Be Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or be Qualified by ExperienceHave an understanding of month end accounting processesHave experience working with transactional finance including on sales and purchase ledgersHave strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Have the ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.Have excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.What's on OfferPermanent Assistant Management Accountant position based in Stockport.Salary of £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on the level of experience.Hybrid working with 1 day a week working from homeOpportunity to progress and develop within the roleIf you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
