Job Description

  • Perform audits for a variety of clients across different industries, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and finalisation of audit assignments.
  • Identify and address potential risks during the audit process.
  • Support junior team members by reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Ensure deadlines are met while adhering to the highest quality standards.
  • Stay updated with changes in auditing standards and accounting regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Senior should have:

  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years external audit experience in the UK.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in using audit and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience in the professional services industry is advantageous.
