Job Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with business customers to encourage repeat trade.
  • Identify and contact prospective customers to create new sales opportunities.
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to agreed orders.
  • Understand customer needs and present suitable products or services clearly.
  • Prepare sales quotations and follow up enquiries in a timely way.
  • Keep accurate records of customer conversations, enquiries and sales activity.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure customer orders and requirements are communicated clearly.
  • Monitor sales activity and provide clear updates on progress against agreed targets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'B2B Sales Executive' should have:

  • Experience of selling to business customers and managing customer relationships.
  • Ability to identify sales leads and develop them into commercial opportunities.
  • Confidence in discussing customer needs and presenting suitable solutions.
  • Experience of managing quotations, enquiries and sales follow-up activity.
