Job Description

The Banking Principal Associate will be:

Advising on leveraged finance, corporate finance and growth lending transactions
Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor agreements
Managing matters across the full transaction lifecycle
Advising lenders, borrowers, investors and intermediaries on complex financing arrangements
Working on restructures, restatements, refinancings and bolt on transactions
Working closely with corporate and restructuring teams on cross practice matters
Taking responsibility for your own caseload while supervising more junior lawyers where appropriate
Building and strengthening long term client relationships
Contributing to business development and client engagement initiatives
Working on local, national and international transactions across a wide range of sectors

The Successful Applicant

The Banking Principal Associate should be:

A solicitor with at least 6 years PQE
Experienced in leveraged finance and general banking matters
Confident managing transactions from instruction through to completion
Skilled at drafting and negotiating finance documentation including both LMA and non LMA documentation
Experienced working with lenders, borrowers, investors and intermediaries
Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship building skills
Proactive, organised and capable of managing multiple complex matters
Passionate about delivering outstanding client service within a collaborative environment
