This hire plays a crucial role in financial leadership, strategic decision-making, and investor relations. The job description for this position includes:Investor Relations and CommunicationLead the US listing process, due in late 2027Lead investor relations activities, including organizing and participating in investor road showsServe as the primary representative for the company's financial matters, articulating the organization's value proposition and growth strategies to investorsConduct quarterly earnings calls, explaining financial results to analysts and investors Financial Leadership and StrategyProvide strategic financial direction for the company, distribution & franchise partners.Oversee all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities in conjunction with the board of directorsCash Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies to optimize returns while maintaining appropriate levels of liquidity.Change Management: Drive higher efficiency in the finance function by implementing new tools and processes.Assess organizational performance against annual budgets and long-term strategyMergers and Acquisitions (M&A) OversightPlay a key role in M&A activities, from target identification to post-merger integrationLead financial due diligence on potential acquisition targetsLead the integration of financial and operational systems post-acquisitionCompliance and Risk ManagementEnsure accuracy and completeness of the company's financial statementsMaintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirementsImplement and oversee strong internal controls and risk management systemsTeam Leadership and CollaborationProvide strong functional leadership to Finance, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and M&A teamsCollaborate with other C-suite executives and divisional heads to drive company-wide initiativesThe Successful ApplicantQualifications:Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Proven experience, fifteen or more years, in a finance leadership role within the consumer goods, beverage or retail industry, in a listed businessStrong understanding of consumer goods sector, ideally with exposure to F&B for 3-5 yearsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams.Experience in a global role or exposure to multiple regions across APAC, EMEA, Americas is highly preferred.Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and drive results in a dynamic environment.Ability to travel globally, up to 50% and flexibility for short term relocations, during IPO and/or M&A is a must.If you are a strategic thinker, finance leader with a passion for joining a firm that thrives on collaboration and humility, this role could be a great next move.What's on OfferOur client is an incredibly exciting consumer goods player, that's investing across geographical, brand and product diversification.
