A highly successful firm of chartered accountants based in Bristol is searching for a key Client Accountant and Manager to join their team as right hand support role to the directors with opportunity to carve an influential role within this accounting firm delivering year end accounts and wider services to wide ranging clients, along with reviewing and supporting juniors with excellent career progression potential on offer.

About Our Client

This growing firm offers a smaller, close knit team environment but within an exciting, fast growing and forward moving practice. The firm also has a fantastic team culture and provides a route to progress. Having now grown to service a client base close to six hundred, they act for wide ranging sector and turnover clients including a growing focus in food and drink and hospitality being very successful withing this field. around 20 - 30% of their clients are food and drink representing 30 -40% of their turnover. Alongside offering all the year end accounts, tax and wider associated compliance and planning services, they also offer an outsourced finance function service as part of this acting as a finance department for clients. Fully digitised firm and tech focused - focused on Xero and an all cloud based and paperless office.

Job Description

Joining as Client Accountant and Manager based from the firms Bristol offices as a key support to the directors you will undertake a role focused on both hands on delivery of year end accounts preparation, alongside reviewing, developing client relationships and mentoring a growing team around you, playing a lead role across all these areas. Alongside this you work on wider advisory/business services delivering wider project work with the Directors and you will carve an influential key role within this firm, progressing as a pivotal addition to this growing accounting firm

The Successful Applicant

You will be any or combintation of AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA etc qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around the Senior Accountant / Manager levels and be looking to take your career to the next level, within a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.

What's on Offer
