Job Description

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve optimal terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor market trends to identify risks and opportunities for the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Analyse and report on procurement performance metrics.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commodity Manager should have:

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of supplier management and sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and procurement data effectively.
