Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Credit Controller include:

  • Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Oversee the credit control process, including assessing and approving credit limits.
  • Chase outstanding debts and resolve payment queries professionally.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies where necessary.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable and overdue payments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing and payment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support financial stability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A strong understanding of credit control and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills to handle complex queries and disputes.
  • A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in the business services industry is an advantage.
