Job Description

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that collect, process and prepare information for business use.
  • Develop data models and structures that make data easier to store, access and analyse.
  • Improve data quality by identifying errors, resolving issues and maintaining consistent records.
  • Work with Technology colleagues to understand data needs and deliver practical solutions.
  • Monitor data processes and resolve faults to keep systems running reliably.
  • Document data flows, system changes and technical processes to support clear handovers.
  • Review existing data solutions and make improvements that increase efficiency and usability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Data Engineer' should have:

  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling and database structures.
  • Ability to investigate data quality issues and apply practical fixes.
  • Experience working with data integration and transformation processes.
  • Confidence monitoring data processes and resolving technical issues.
  • Clear technical documentation skills for data flows and system changes.

What's on Offer

  • Temporary Data Engineer contract based in London.
  • Daily rate of £405 to £495, dependent on the level of experience.
