We are seeking a Temporary Demand Planner to support procurement and supply chain operations within the manufacturing industry for a 6 month contract. This role is based in Mountain Ash and requires expertise in ERP systems and demand planning to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain processes.

Job Description

* Manage day‑to‑day demand planning for the US market to ensure accurate forecasting and supply continuity* Maintain and update planning data using advanced Excel tools and spreadsheets
* Use SAP/ERP systems to manage MRP, planning cycles and data accuracy
* Collaborate with Warehouse, Engineering, Customer Service and other operational teams to resolve planning related issues
* Provide planning support during a key transition period
* Work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with high expectations for accuracy and timely output
* Ensure alignment with MRP requirements and escalate risks, shortages or variances as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temporary Demand Planner should have:

  • Proven experience with ERP systems in a procurement or supply chain context.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SAP essential. (SAP Business 1 knowledge is highly desirable).
  • Technical, IT skill set and advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of demand planning processes within the life science industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
