Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements in compliance with regional regulations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure accuracy in general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
  • Support VAT reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with international teams to streamline financial processes.
  • Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Contribute to audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Enhance internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful EMEA Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or working towards them).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry is desirable but not required.
