It has received industry recognition for its inclusive working environment, investment in people and commitment to diversity, wellbeing and career progression, making it an exceptional place to build a long-term legal career.Job DescriptionThe Employment Solicitor will be:Advising employer clients on a broad range of employment law matters, including both contentious and non-contentious issues.Representing clients in Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal proceedings, including advocacy where appropriate.Supporting businesses through restructures, collective redundancies, TUPE transfers and wider workforce change projects.Managing their own caseload while working alongside senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters.Delivering training and guidance to clients while collaborating with specialists across areas including immigration, pensions, tax and corporate law.The Successful ApplicantA successful Employment Solicitor should have:Qualified as a solicitor with between 2 to 5 years PQEStrong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.Experience in advising clients on complex legal matters.The ability to manage multiple cases effectively and efficiently.A client-focused approach with attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.What's on OfferThis is an opportunity to join one of Scotland's most respected commercial law firms, working alongside highly regarded employment specialists on quality, complex work for an impressive client base.
