Job Description

The Employment Solicitor will be:

  • Advising employer clients on a broad range of employment law matters, including both contentious and non-contentious issues.
  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal proceedings, including advocacy where appropriate.
  • Supporting businesses through restructures, collective redundancies, TUPE transfers and wider workforce change projects.
  • Managing their own caseload while working alongside senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters.
  • Delivering training and guidance to clients while collaborating with specialists across areas including immigration, pensions, tax and corporate law.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Employment Solicitor should have:

  • Qualified as a solicitor with between 2 to 5 years PQE
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in advising clients on complex legal matters.
  • The ability to manage multiple cases effectively and efficiently.
  • A client-focused approach with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
