As an ER Specialist in Leatherhead, you'll focus on providing expert advice and support on employee relations matters. Your role will be key in ensuring smooth HR operations across a range of employee relations matters and maintaining compliance with updates to employment laws.

Job Description

  • Provide professional guidance on employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinaries, and absence management.
  • Ensure all HR practices align with current employment legislation and company policies.
  • Support managers in handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Draft and review HR documentation, such as letters and reports, related to employee relations cases.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to deliver consistent and fair outcomes.
  • Conduct investigations into workplace concerns and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Offer advice and training to line managers to enhance their understanding of employee relations processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ER Specialist should have:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its application in employee relations matters.
  • Proven experience in handling complex employee relations cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly.
  • A confident, solutions-focused approach to resolving workplace issues.
