Job Description

  • Lead and manage the accounting and finance department, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and oversee the company's financial strategy, including budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the leadership team.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Oversee cash flow management to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial legislation.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team to support their professional growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Director should have:

  • Strong experience in accounting and financial management within the energy industry.
  • A relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage and inspire a finance team.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence in presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
