Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Oversee payroll processes and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts and tax submissions.
  • Review and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the finance team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Strong skills in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in finance.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and payroll processes.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work part-time while maintaining a high standard of work.

What's on Offer

  • Salary £50000 - £60000 per annum, pro-rata, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Possible future hybrid working with flexible hours.
  • 3/4 or 20-24 hours a week of work.
  • 25 days annual leave (pro-rated) plus 8 public holidays.
