Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
  • Prepare regular financial information to help the business understand its current position.
  • Review financial data and resolve discrepancies to improve the accuracy of reporting.
  • Maintain organised accounting records so information is easy to access when needed.
  • Work with colleagues across the business to gather financial information and answer finance queries.
  • Monitor finance processes and identify practical ways to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of financial updates that help guide business planning and decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Experience managing day-to-day accounting activities and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong financial reporting skills, with the ability to present clear and useful information.
  • Confidence reviewing financial data and investigating discrepancies.
  • Good understanding of accounting processes and record keeping.
  • Ability to organise finance tasks effectively and meet regular deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills when working with colleagues on finance matters.
  • Be comfortable working in a stand alone finance opportunity.

  • Salary of £38,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm in office
