They provide essential services to a diverse client base and are recognised for their structured and professional approach to business.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Finance OperationsSupport the day-to-day running of finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiencyMaintain financial data integrity across systems including Sage and internal reporting toolsIdentify and support improvements to finance processes and workflowsAccounts Payable & ExpensesProcess supplier invoices and expense claimsMaintain the Purchase Order (PO) log and perform invoice matchingManage Pleo and company credit card transactionsEnsure accurate coding to cost centres and accountsPayments & Cash FlowPrepare and manage supplier payment runsMaintain and update cash flow forecastsEnsure payments are made accurately and on timeReconciliations & ControlsPerform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve discrepanciesMaintain accurate ledgers and control accountsAccounts Receivable & Credit ControlRaise and issue client invoicesMonitor aged debt and follow up on overdue balancesHandle customer queries and maintain strong relationshipsReporting & ComplianceSupport VAT return preparation and reconciliationsAssist with cost centre reporting and financial analysisContribute to supplier rebate calculations and reportingAdditional ResponsibilitiesLiaise with external payroll providersProvide cover for incentive payment processesSupport finance system and process improvement initiativesThe Successful ApplicantAbout YouExperience in a finance role with exposure to transactional finance and/or operationsStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyExperience using accounting systems (Sage preferred)Strong Excel skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesConfident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving approachWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary of GBP 40,000 to GBP 50,000 for the duration of the 9-month FTC.Opportunity to work within a respected organisation in the business services industry.Broad and varied role with strong exposure across financeOpportunity to contribute to process improvements and business performanceThis is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Operations Analyst to contribute to a key department in a reputable organisation.
