Job Description

  • Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process.
  • Supervise the finance team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Review and improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
  • Prepare financial analysis to support decision-making across the organisation.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors and regulatory bodies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience in financial management within the Not For Profit sector is advantageous.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including compliance and reporting standards.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Salary ranging from £63,000 to £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
