A specialist, international engineering and manufacturing business with a presence across global markets. The business operates within a highly specialised niche, following a period of growth, the business is now strengthening its finance function, creating an exciting opportunity to join at a key stage.

Job Description

You'll be expected to go beyond producing numbers - challenging variances, understanding operational drivers and partnering with stakeholders to improve performance. There's also a key systems and inventory focus as the business moves to a new manufacturing ERP, alongside the opportunity to take ownership of group consolidation and reporting as you settle into the role.Key Responsibilities;

  • Producing monthly management accounts.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Stock valuation and inventory accounting.
  • Working closely with manufacturing teams to understand and analyse costs.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve cost control and profitability.
  • Preparing information for board reporting.
  • Supporting ERP and finance system improvements.
  • Providing commercially focused analysis and insight to senior management.
  • Working across multiple international operations and currencies.



The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant ideally CIMA, ACCA or ACA, with proven Management Accountant experience.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A commercially minded approach.
  • Knowledge of stock/inventory accounting and valuation.



What's on Offer

  • Salary between £65,000 and £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 10-20% annual bonus depending on company and individual performance
