Job Description

  • Oversee daily financial control activities to maintain accurate and timely accounting records.
  • Prepare regular financial reports that give the business a clear view of financial performance.
  • Review financial data and investigate variances to improve the quality of reporting.
  • Maintain strong financial processes and controls across the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Coordinate month-end activities to ensure information is complete and available when needed.
  • Work with colleagues across the business to gather financial information and resolve queries.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activity with reliable financial data and insight.
  • Present financial information clearly to help leaders make informed decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Financial Controller' should have:

  • Experience in financial control and management reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting.
  • Ability to review financial data, identify variances and resolve issues.
  • Experience of coordinating month-end reporting activities.
  • Confidence working with colleagues across finance and wider business teams.
  • Clear communication skills when presenting financial information.
