Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as required.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in financial analysis and delivering actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
