Job Description

As the dedicated Knowledge Lawyer for the Funds team, you will be responsible for ensuring lawyers remain up to date on legal and regulatory developments while driving knowledge sharing, training, innovation and best practice across the group.

Working closely with partners, fee earners and the wider Knowledge team, you will play a key role in maintaining technical excellence, developing client-facing knowledge products and supporting the firm's broader knowledge and innovation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and communicate legal and regulatory developments affecting funds and asset management.
  • Produce practical, user-friendly know-how and legal updates.
  • Deliver internal training programmes and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain precedents, templates and technical resources.
  • Champion the use of AI and legal technology within the Funds practice.
  • Support the delivery of client knowledge initiatives, including alerts, horizon-scanning, seminars and webinars.
  • Respond to technical legal queries from lawyers and, where appropriate, clients.
  • Collaborate with partners, business development teams and other Knowledge Lawyers.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the firm's wider knowledge strategy.



The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer with strong experience in private funds, asset management or investment funds.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant UK and international funds regulation and market practice.
  • Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
  • Able to present complex legal developments in a practical and accessible way.
  • Interest in legal innovation, knowledge management and AI-enabled legal services.
  • Highly organised, proactive and collaborative.
  • Suitable for experienced fee earners looking to move into knowledge, existing PSLs/Knowledge Lawyers, in-house lawyers, academics or those returning to practice following a career break.



Location: Flexible / Hybrid

  • Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time considered.
