Job Description

  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting processes.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor queries.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:

  • A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance within the consumer industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • A meticulous approach to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
