Job Description

Act as the senior finance partner to Operations and Technical leadership teams.
Drive financial performance across manufacturing and operational functions.
Support major business transformation and operational change initiatives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities.
Deliver insightful analysis on business performance, risks and opportunities.
Partner with operational leaders to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability.
Provide financial leadership on supplier strategy, sourcing decisions and operational risk management.
Own and enhance manufacturing cost reporting, standard costing and variance analysis processes.
Develop investment appraisals and business cases supporting strategic projects and capital expenditure.
Drive accountability through meaningful KPI reporting and performance management.
Maintain a visible presence within manufacturing operations and engage closely with site leadership.
Strengthen financial controls, governance and decision-support capabilities across the business.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance - Business Partnering should have:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role within manufacturing, engineering, industrial or technology-led environments.
Strong operational finance and business partnering credentials.
Deep understanding of manufacturing finance, standard costing and variance analysis.
Experience supporting manufacturing transformation, operational change or supply chain initiatives.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting strategic business decisions.
Experience partnering operational, engineering or technical functions.
Excellent analytical, financial modelling and planning capabilities.
Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on within a manufacturing environment.
