The client is a long‑established, global manufacturing group operating across multiple UK sites. The organisation has been through a period of significant change and is now midway through a strategic transformation programme aimed at strengthening performance, modernising processes, and rebuilding culture.

They have a newly refreshed senior leadership team, a people‑focused ethos, and a strong commitment to developing talent. The UK business is sizeable, complex, and fast‑moving, offering genuine scope for influence, improvement, and long‑term progression within an international group.

Job Description

  • Lead UK‑wide consolidation, cash flow and audit activity.
  • Drive standardisation and process improvement across finance and systems.
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to support decisions and improve performance.
  • Strengthen controls, data integrity and financial reporting.
  • Develop and support the finance team while deputising for the European FD when needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience in consolidation, cash management and multi‑site finance.
  • Proven ability to improve processes, standardise systems and drive change.
  • Calm, resilient leadership style with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with lots of moving parts.
  • Collaborative, people‑focused approach that fits a supportive, modern culture.
