Job Description

  • Lead financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies.
  • Manage and guide the Accounting & Finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimise financial performance.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage risk effectively within the organisation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial operations and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience within the energy and natural resources industry is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
