Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsInternational groupFMCG/Food experience mandatoryAbout Our ClientOur client is a leading FMCG playerJob DescriptionYou will be responsible of the following tasks:Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.Lead and manage the HSE team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective execution of HSE initiatives.Monitor and evaluate HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards related to health, safety, and environment.Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify potential risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business processes and decision-making.Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness through training, communication, and engagement initiatives.Prepare and present HSE reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas of concern.Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement of HSE programs.Demonstrate strategic acumen by aligning HSE initiatives with the company's long-term goals and objectives, ensuring that HSE considerations are integrated into the overall business strategy.Develop and implement crisis management plans to effectively respond to emergencies and incidents, minimizing impact on operations and ensuring the safety of employees and stakeholders.Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, and contractors, to ensure HSE compliance across the supply chain and operations.Implement and lead initiatives for sustainability esp. in environmental stewardship, focusing on reducing the company's carbon footprint, energy consumption, and waste generation.The Successful ApplicantBA or BS in relevant field (Chemical, Biology, Veterinary, Food Technology, Environment Science).
