We are seeking an experienced Laptop Deployment Engineer to support a large-scale end-user device refresh project. The role involves deploying laptops directly to users in a face-to-face environment, completing device setup and imaging through Microsoft Intune, and ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Daily rate of £200 -250 a day outside IR35.
  • High-impact end-user technology deployment programme.

Job Description

  • Deploy and hand over laptops to end users in person
  • Image and configure devices using Microsoft Intune
  • Support end-user onboarding and device setup activities
  • Troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues
  • Migrate user data and settings where required
  • Ensure devices comply with security and company standards
  • Provide excellent customer service during deployment activities
  • Maintain accurate deployment records and asset tracking

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Support professional should have:

  • Proven experience in laptop deployment projects
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with device imaging and provisioning
  • Windows 10/11 deployment and support experience
  • Excellent face-to-face customer support skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills
  • Experience working in large-scale refresh or rollout programmes
