The London team comprises both English and New York qualified lawyers with deep expertise across European and US financing products including bank and bond structures, unitranche, senior and mezzanine loans, high yield bonds and back leverage arrangements. Job Description

The team is looking for experienced Associates to join its expanding Leveraged Finance Group in London. You will work on a broad range of international transactions including:

  • Acquisition financings, refinancings and strategic financings, particularly for private equity sponsors and other financial investor clients
  • Drafting and negotiating facilities agreements, intercreditor agreements and security documents
  • Leading on workstreams and managing execution on complex multi jurisdictional transactions
  • Working closely with colleagues across corporate, tax, competition and other transactional practices

The Successful Applicant

  • Solid leveraged finance experience on borrower, sponsor or creditor side at a leading international or top tier UK firm
  • Strong technical and commercial skills
  • Qualified in England and Wales or another common law jurisdiction
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage workstreams confidently
  • A proactive approach to client service, practice development and knowledge sharing
