Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and financial efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures across departments.
  • Identify areas for cost optimisation and process improvement.
  • Support the wider Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a management accounting role within the business services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
