Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making within the organisation.
  • Manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid strategic planning.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in monitoring cost controls and identifying areas for financial improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the accounting & finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Proven experience in management accounting ideally within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
