Our client is a well established Manufacturing organisation who are looking to add a Part Qualified Management Accountant to their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and support strategic decisions.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Reconcile accounts and manage financial discrepancies.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
  • Collaborate with different departments to monitor costs and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Studying towards a professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of the Manufacturing sector would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with various teams.
  • Able to commute to our client's office in Burton-on-Trent.
