Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance and variances.
  • Assist with cost analysis and control for manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting part-qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Experience in management accounting, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams.
