Management Accountant

Warrington Temporary £40,000 - £45,000 per year View Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support a business during a key SAP S/4HANA migration project while taking ownership of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly integrate into the team, partner with stakeholders across the business and deliver meaningful financial insight from day one.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established multi-site organisation operating within a manufacturing and operational environment.

Job Description

  • Support the finance team throughout a SAP S/4HANA system migration
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Complete budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Produce P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
  • Develop KPI reporting and management dashboards
  • Business partner with operational and departmental managers
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support efficiency initiatives
  • Support month-end and year-end processes
  • Maintain financial controls and compliance standards
  • Deliver financial modelling and business case analysis
  • Support commercial decision-making across the business

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Proven Management Accountant experience
  • Strong month-end, budgeting and forecasting background
  • Previous SAP S/4HANA experience is essential
  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
  • Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Available to start immediately or at short notice
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering or operational environments would be advantageous
