This is a great opportunity for a QBE or Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing business in Nantwich, taking ownership of management accounts, month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you'll provide valuable insight to support decision-making while helping to drive continuous improvement within the finance function.

Job Description



  • Key Responsibilities

    • Preparation of monthly management accounts
    • Month-end duties including accruals, prepayments and journals
    • Variance analysis and financial performance reporting
    • Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning support
    • Balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns
    • Producing meaningful financial analysis and commentary
    • Working with stakeholders across the business to support decision-making
    • Identifying process improvements and efficiencies within finance operations

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:

    • Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
    • QBE, Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or actively studying
    • Experience producing monthly management accounts
    • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and analysis
    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
