Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth within the Own Label category.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key retail accounts Aldi, Lidl, and Co-op, alongside the Convenience & Forecourt accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Account Manager should have:

  • Proven track record in sales, particularly within the Grocery Channel.
  • Strong account management skills with experience in handling key clients.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
  • Proficiency in negotiating contracts and managing budgets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
