We are looking for a Part Time Credit Controller to join a reputable organisation and market leader. This Part Time permanent role based in Burton-On-Trent offers the opportunity to contribute to effective financial management within the Accounting & Finance department.

Job Description

  • Manage and maintain the credit control process to ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address payment queries.
  • Prepare and issue invoices and statements.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and implement appropriate collection procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve processes.
  • Generate reports on outstanding debts and payment statuses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part Time Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar credit control or financial role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills for managing client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Adaptability to a hybrid working environment.
