Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day finance processes to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
  • Prepare regular financial reports that give clear information for business decisions.
  • Monitor income and expenditure, highlighting any issues that need attention.
  • Maintain financial records and supporting documents in an organised format.
  • Review financial data to identify trends and improve the quality of management information.
  • Work with relevant colleagues to gather information needed for reporting and finance activity.
  • Manage finance deadlines and priorities to ensure routine tasks are completed on time.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part Time Finance Manager should have:

  • Experience managing day-to-day finance activities and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ability to prepare clear financial reports and review financial information.
  • Strong understanding of income, expenditure and financial controls.
  • Confidence organising finance tasks and meeting regular reporting deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail when reviewing figures and supporting documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues to gather and clarify financial information.
